a month of gratitude

Please join in!

You’re invited to join me for the onemindfulness.com 31 Days of Gratitude – get started any time you’re ready!

The Month of Gratitude took place in March, 2016. A gratitude prompt was posted and delivered to participants’ inboxes every day. Though we aren’t posting them now, you can go to the posts on your own, checking back each day for the next one until you’ve done all 31 days:

Head here for the daily posts.

The Gratitude Month remains on this site for anyone and everyone who wants to participate, so please share this post wherever you want to spread the word.

Gratitude isn’t just a feeling, it’s an attitude. It’s commonly said that an attitude of gratitude is one of the most important foundations of cultivating inner peace.

The other day I got to thinking about how important it is for me to consciously connect with my gratitude, so I challenged myself: do something to acknowledge gratitude in my life every day for one month.

Originally I was going to do it alone in my journal, but then got curious how much more powerful it would be to share the gratitude experience and benefits with all of you.

Here’s how it works

Every day for 31 days I will post a short inspiration, suggestion, theme, exercise, or unfinished sentence about gratitude.

You reply and share a reflection of your gratitude experience on that day’s Gratitude post. Could be a few words, just one word, paragraph, photo, collage, poem, or just a simple comment. Whatever moves you.

I thought the first days of spring, around the Equinox, was an appropriate day to start because, you know, new beginnings.

You’ll get the most benefit if you make a commitment to yourself to participate every day.

Participation is simple and easy

Choose how you want to get the gratitude prompts:

  1. If you haven’t already, like the  ONE page on Facebook and you’ll automatically get the gratitude posts every day in your newsfeed. (Suggestion from a reader: to make sure the prompts don’t get lost in your feed, change settings so you always see ONE posts first.)
  2. Or get the RSS feed from this site.

Choose how you want to participate:

  1. Reply to the post on Facebook
  2. Reply to each day’s post here on this site
