Are you a beginner to self-care, a long-time veteran in the self-care world, or somewhere in between?
Our Guilt-Free Self-Care Workshops for all levels allow you to discover the benefits of self-care in an authentic, experiential learning environment.
Our Guilt-Free Self-Care Workshops create a supportive container in which you’ll learn all about self-care and create a plan to begin your own self-care practice.
Guilt-Free Self-Care Refreshers keep you in touch with others who are on the self-care journey within a nurturing, connected group.
I had no idea that petting my dog is caring for myself! I learned alot, like little changes I made in my kitchen so I do some self care in the morning before everyone gets up. Thank you. ~ Vi
Guilt-Free Self-Care Workshop For Beginners
When you think of self-care, what comes to mind?
For many of us, the first thing we think of is candlelit bubblebaths and it ends there. While bubblebaths can certainly be a soothing form of self-care, that’s definitely not all there is to it.
In our workshops, you’ll learn what self-care really is and how to apply it in your own life. You’ll also learn what self-care isn’t, and how to avoid self-care hell. Yes, there is such a thing.
For Continuing Self-Care Practice: Refreshers
Perhaps you’re already well-versed in practicing self-care. Maybe you’ve fallen away from it and want to get reconnected. Or maybe you just want to connect with others who are on the same path.
Our Guilt-Free Self-Care Refreshers offer an empathetic, supportive space to continue moving forward in your self-care practice. Our experiential workshops encourage you to embrace the self-care that works for you, and support you in challenging and changing what isn’t working.
What are the Self-Care Workshops like?
Our self-care workshops are intentionally small at a maximum of 12 participants. These smaller groups allow more connection for experiential learning and create a greater sense of support and safety in the group.
The workshops include interactive instruction, personal exercises and practices, and supportive group discussions.
You’ll also have access to a private online self-care community for ongoing connection and encouragement.
Who may attend these self-care workshops?
These workshops are appropriate for ages 16 and up.
Sometimes I create workshops specifically for certain ages, genders or other groups, which is made clear on each workshop’s event information page in the calendar.
I’m always open to creating self-care workshops for specific groups. If you’d like to host a workshop for your own organization, please get in touch.
Do you need to bring anything?
I recommend you have a notebook and journal with you. You occasionally may receive printable worksheets, but most often you’ll need to take your own notes.
Is there anything you should not bring?
For the comfort and safety of the group, all our in-person and virtual events are alcohol and drug free.
I ask that you do not bring food to our workshops. It creates a more chatty ambience and often is a distraction for others. Please eat before or after the workshop. This includes virtual events.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and respect.
Do you have to sign up or register?
You do need to register, even for our complimentary workshops, so we can manage the number of participants.
Upon registration, you’ll receive an email with instructions, guidelines and the Zoom link.
For multi-day events, it is important that you commit to all workshop dates when registering.
Is there a cost?
Each workshop’s information page in our calendar includes the cost for the workshop. You may press the Register button to sign up for your chosen event.
I offer special prices to my email list subscribers, so signing up is worth it for discounts.
